As a Commercial Garage Door Technician Helper, you will work alongside experienced technicians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial garage doors. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning and skill development in the field of garage door systems.

Job Summary

• Location: Orillia, Ontario
• Vehicle: Company vehicle provided
• Salary: $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support senior technicians in installing residential and commercial garage doors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
• Assist in the routine maintenance activities for commercial garage door systems, including lubrication, adjustments and inspections.
• Work with technicians to identify and troubleshoot issues with garage door systems, providing necessary support during repairs.
• Handle and organize tools, equipment and materials required for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering basic queries and providing assistance as directed by senior technicians.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of overhead doors, sectionals, rolling steel, high speed or specialty doors would be considered an asset.
• Valid G driver's license is a must.
